  Fruit Size: Medium to large for season 
  Fruit Shape:

Nectarine - Rounded, Asymmetric.  Can have a tip in some seasons

  Skin Colour: 70% red blush on exposed fruit over a yellow ground colour

  Flesh Colour: Yellow
  Flesh Texture:

Moderate firmness

  Flavour:

Average; Acid / Non-acid/ Sub-acid

  Stone:

Size; Free; some splitstones may occur if crop is light

Tree

  Cropping: Can be variable.  Depends on season and district grown.  Better south of Waikato but acceptable crops north.
  Blossom: Light bloom; Colour and Showy 
  Pollination: Self fertile; easily pollinated
  Vigour: Vigorous 
  Tree Habit/Form: Open-spreading 

Notes

 

Can be inconsistent in cropping and skin finish.  In years of adequate crop, produces good quality fruit.  Very nice sugar to qacid balance when enough sun and heat.  Still a relevant high performing variety today.  Has been reselected a number of times.
